Suspected Laptop Theft / Request for Escalation (SBB Loss Report No: K2026/000000)

Dear SBB Lost & Found Team / Community Support,

I am writing to urgently request your assistance and escalation regarding my lost property case.

[Incident Details]

SBB Loss Report Number: K2026/000000
Date & Time: October 1, 2026
Route: Interlaken Ost to Bern
Carriage/Class: 1st Class
Item Lost: ADMIN: Hidden by moderation

[Detailed Situation]
On October 1st, I was traveling with my family on the train from Interlaken Ost to Bern in a 1st class carriage. At the time, my family was virtually the only passengers in that carriage.

The laptop was left on the overhead luggage rack. Because I submitted the official loss report immediately after the incident and it was placed right on top of the rack, I expected it to be recovered quickly through the lost and found system. However, 14 days have now passed with no updates or matches.

This laptop contains extremely important and essential data, making its recovery critical for me.

Given that the 1st class carriage was nearly empty and only accessible to a few people during the journey, it is very unlikely that the bag was simply overlooked. I strongly suspect that someone intentionally took the bag from the overhead rack.

Could you please check if there are any updated internal notes or unmatched items corresponding to report K2026/000000 ADMIN: Hidden by moderation
Since this involves important confidential data and suspected theft, please advise on how I can officially coordinate with the SBB Transport Police (Transportpolizei) to request CCTV footage inspection for that train route and carriage.

I would deeply appreciate your prompt attention and support to help resolve this issue.

Thank you very much.
