1. Is there a bus pass to use for one day in Zurich? I will come from Interlaken and drop off my luggage at a hotel at Zurich airport and tour the city and visit Lindt Chocolate Factory. I image I will need a 2-3 bus/train rides for the day. The only day pass I know costs CHF 75 which is way more expensive than needed for just one city.

2. Do I get discount to tour Lindt Chocolate Factory with a Half Fare Card?

If you travel only within Zurich and enter the route for the ticket purchase, you will automatically receive a ticket with zones. This ticket is then valid on the bus, streetcar and train within the zones.

Hi Fatima,

For the attached connection, it says 4 zones. Which 4 zones are included? If I mapping the route correctly, I am seeing the route passes zones 121, 110, and 150. I assume choosing single journey or single and return journey doesn’t matter as long as I travel within these zones. Am I right? Thank you!

Within the zones purchased and the validity period, the ticket is valid for any number of journeys on all means of public transport. In the ZVV, a single ticket for e.g. 4 zones is valid for two hours. This means that you can move around in these zones for two hours. If you take a return ticket, it is valid for 24 hours for any number of journeys in the zones purchased.
