Hi all,

I will go to Como via Lugano on a RE train, and I am trying to understand if I need a ticket. The SBB app shows that I need to pay CHF 1.50 for a single trip, and the website shows CHF 10.90 (doesn’t see my GA travelcard while purchasing), but the validity map for GA shows that Como is included and the railway is with free travel. I would appreciate your help regarding this.

You need an Arcobaleno Transfrontaliera ticket from Chiasso to Como. The cost is CHF 1.50, one way.

The GA Travel Card validity map shows that the GA Travel Card is valid as far as Chiasso, but not beyond this point. I don’t know how you came to the conclusion that the GA was valid.
