General question about the Half Fare Travelcard

Dear SBB community,

I currently have a GA travel card but it will expire soon.

I am thinking to buy the Half Fare Travelcard however, there are some questions that I have and I cannot find the answers online.

I see that the price is 185 chf / year and that each SBB ticket can be bought with 50%discount then. Is that right?

I am going also to need the “ANNUEL TOUT GENEVE” ticket to be able to use the tram/bus in Geneva. This costs 500chf per year. Can I buy this with 50% discount if I have the HF card? Thank you for your request.

The Half-Fare travelcard does not offer any reductions for abonnements. With the Half-Fare travelcard, you receive a 50% discount on tickets but not on TPG abonnements (season tickets).
