Hi I want to buy a Supersaver Ticket (fixed day and timings), but it is indicated that there will be limited service due to engineering work. How does it work then? Since the particular timing i book may be cancelled or amended.

In the even of construction works, the Supersaver ticket remains valid for services that substitute the original services (e.g. replacement buses). You can also travel on the next possible service, even if this service takes another route. Important is, that you take the next possible connection.

I’m travelling from Lauterbrunnen to Zermatt on 1 Oct Sun. There is limited service from interlaken ost and spiez. Does it mean there are replacement buses? Lower train frequency? How does super saver ticket work here? Thank u!

Yes, there will be buses replacing the IC61 trains. They will depart after the train has arrived. All will be well sign-posted; you won’t be the only one doing this transfer. The tickets remain valid even for the bus. You should not worry too much, even in the event of a planned construction work, the timetable suggestions are reliable and travel on public transport will be smooth as usual.
