Hello, I boarded a EC6 from Basel SBB to Düsseldorf on 22.07.2022 traveling with my wife and new born.

I had a booking for seats but this train didn’t attach out coach to the train (coach 254) was not available and we had no seats throughout the journey and this was really inconvenient.

The ticket checker mentioned I should write to sbb for a refund for seats and delays. Can you please help how to proceed here?

I tried calling the numbers given on the website and it doesn’t work for me, Im calling from Germany.

It would have been advisable that the train staff had issued a confirmation for the absence of the booked coach as well as the delay.

You can reach SBB by calling +41 51 225 78 56, waiting times may occur.
