SBB travelpass and Eurorail

I’m planning to come to Europe in mid December. As I would be travelling to Switzerland, I’d want to know
1. Does Eurorail pass work for travel within Switzerland?

2. if not, then does possession of Eurorail pass provide any benefit (or discount) in purchase of Swiss Travel pass or vice verse?

With a Eurail Global Pass, you can use public transport in Switzerland according to the Eurail area of validity card. With the Eurail Global Pass you do not have any discount on other offers such as Swiss Travel Pass in Switzerland.
