1、I have got Saver Day Pass, could I get a Swiss Family Card for my daughter (12 years)? And could my daughter have free ride both on glacier express and Zermatt-Luzern?

2、I have purchased 1-day travel pass for children, could I get a refund for the ticket?

Hi NicholasK,

Hoping you can clear something up as I’ve never used the Saver Day Pass before. We’re travelling to Switzerland this coming Saturday and I managed to get 1st Class Saver Day Passes for myself and my wife and a Day Pass Children for my Son. When I booked I made sure I stated I didn’t have any discount cards etc and on my e-tickets it states ‘Full Fare’. What I want to make sure is that:

a) I don’t need any other travel card to use this ticket. I’m taking it that Full fare means I don’t

b) Will it cover me from Geneva Airport to Wengen. The ticket mentions the GA area and I couldn’t get my head round what it meant.

The Swiss Family Card is only valid with a product of Swiss Travel System like Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card.

So if you have a Saver Day Pass you cannot get the Swiss Family Card for your daughter.
