Can I use a Companion ticket with a Swiss Travel Pass (4 days)?

I’m booking tickets for a trip in May, staying two days in Zurich and two in Lucerne. As a family of four (parents and two children under 16), we thought we could get a Swiss Travel Pass for 4 days, along a with a Companion ticket for those days.

The Swiss Travel Pass seems recomended for international visitors, but I just wanted to confirm that a Companion ticket would be valid with this pass.

The Swiss Travel Pass would cover 1 parent, and with family card the children would be covered. Then the companion card would cover the other parent. Can any one confirm that this is a valid combination?
