Geneva to Interlaken via Montreux, zweisimmen

I’m coming from india and wish to travel in golden pass. I’m planning to travel in golden pass from montreux to interlaken. But I have couple of questions.

a> Can I buy saver day pass and travel in any trains from Geneva to Interlaken via montreux and zweisimmen.

b> Do I need to reserve seats in the train? If yes, do I need to select any specific trains.
