Regular trains Zermatt to Chur

Hello

How easy is it to go on the Glacier Express route from Zermatt to Chur on regular trains? It looks like I can go to Andermatt and then onto Chur.

Do I need to book seat reservations?

Date of travel is 14 August 2023

It involves train changes as there are no regular direct trains going from Zermatt to Chur. You will have to change in Visp, Andermatt and Disentis.

Seat reservations are not required and are anyway not possible on regional ® trains. These are also commuter trains.
