502 Bad Gateway Error after SwissPass online identity check

Hi everyone,

I could not find an easy way to contact SBB so decide to post here.

When trying to purchase a half-fare card without an existing SwissPass, after a pressing “Continue” after a successful identity check on SwissPass site, there is a Bad Gateway error on the SBB site.

I tried both yesterday and today, and also both German and English but it is still there… Any suggestions or maybe someone could let SBB know?

We are not aware of a general problem in the technical system today.
Please delete your browsing history, close the page and if possible open the same page on another browser like Microsoft or Firefox.

Hi MelanieD,

Thank you for the response, we tried from a different computer:

* With Mozzila Firefox 115 it showed the 502 Bad Gateway error

* With Google Chrome with clean history it went back to the SBB page successfully, but it was the same as before with the option to verify identity…

Something is clearly broken there…

Is there some other way of ordering SwissPass online (i.e. without trying to purchase something from SBB) or is the only other decent option to go to a staffed counter

MelanieD Nach diversen versuchen auf Android mit Chrome, Windows mit Chrome und Firefox sowie Apple mit Safari kann ich mit Sicherheit sagen das Problem liegt bei der SBB. Auf allen Systemen an mehreren Tagen immer den Fehler 502 Bad Gateway erhalten.
