how to get the validity of my half price card

I searched for a link in both SBB Mobile App and in the Web Application that would provide me information about the validity of my Half Price Card, but I couldn’t find any.

SBB Mobile App sometimes seems aware I posses a Half Price, but not all times.

The web application is not aware at all of my half card; when I buy a ticket, I have to select it explicitely from a combobox.

Are you unsure how long your Half-Fare card is valid for? We can help you out!

To check the validity of your SwissPass you have the following possibilities:

- online on http://www.swisspass.ch/
- ask our train staff
- by phone (dialing 0848 44 66 88)
- by E-Mail (halbtax@sbb.ch or ga@sbb.ch)
- at any staffed station
- at all new SBB ticket machines - further information

You can change the reduction in the step “Ticket Option”. Please click on “Edit travelers”.
The reduced price is not automatically calculated even if the SwissPass is registered in the app SBB Mobile.

That information can be found anywhere except in those places where it matters most, that is in SBB Mobile and in the SBB Web Application.
