Dear Sir/Madam,

I bought tickets for (3) of us traveling from Zurich to Lake Como on July 22, 2023. I now realize that I am unable to rent a car in Como as I arrive too late on week end. I would therefore like to change tickets for same day and travel instead from Zurich HB to Lugano where I can rent a car there on a Saturday afternoon. I would also like to purchase a return ticket from Lugano back to Zurich HB on Friday, July 28th. Am I able to use the purchase made to apply to this new event?

A little side note: before renting a car in Lugano, kindly check with the Swiss car rental company if you are allowed to drive a Swiss registered car to Italy at all, or let them at least know your intention to do so. Car burglaries involving Swiss cars are not uncommon in Italy. Therefore, car rental companies may ask for a higher insurance, or for certain car types, they may even prohibit driving the car to Italy.
