Purchase Special Tickets on SBB.CH with already purchased Swiss Travel pass

Dear Friends,

I have already purchased 15 day Swiss Travel Pass. However, I can’t link it to my SBB.CH account (Swiss Pass account). I purchased it from a third-party website from Australia.

But, Now, I want to book special tickets for example, Grindelwald to First, Wengen to Jungfraujoch through my sbb.ch account.

Herewith, I have attached a screenshot. So, under my profile, I see an option of “Half fare Travelcard”. Should I tick this option? I can’t find “Swiss Travel Pass” option under my profile. If I do this, I can see the half-fare or 25% reduced free for cable cars and mountain lifts.

But, my question is: Are my tickets considered valid if I booked them by ticking Half-Fare card?

Because if someone asks me for Half-fare Travelcard, I will be able to show my Swiss Travel Pass only. For booking purpose, are Swiss Travel Pass and “Half-fare Travelcard” considered same?

Thank you for your request.

No, the Swiss Travel Pass is not the same product as a Swiss Half-Fare Card, so you cannot buy a ticket with the Half-Fare Card.
