Hi,
Can I just buy the reservation on the Golden Pass Panoramic train and later on buy the tickets when I land in Switzerland? Reason I am asking is I may buy the swiss pass or the half fare card when I land in Switzerland in which case I may not need to buy the tickets or get half fare.
What is the best approach? Please advise.

Yes, you can reserve the seats already in advance, without being in the possession of a ticket. You can reserve the seats on this website: Timetable and ticket purchase (mob.ch)
