I tried to purchase the swiss travel pass twice thourgh my Lloyd bank card and my firend’s lloyd bank card. The system charges it twice but the page shows ‘The payment cannot be made due to an error. Please repeat the process.’. We would like ask for a refund for 730.22 pounds. SBB account is (SBB Admin: Email redacted. Reason: PI in a public forum)

Do you use a credit card that supports 3D secure? This is required for a successful payment. A refund request is not needed; your bank will again release the reserved amount in a few hours due to an unsuccessful payment.

There is actually no need to buy the Swiss Travel Passes in advance; it is available from any SBB Travel Center upon arrival.
