Good day,

I was wondering if I purchased the Swiss Half Price Fare for 120 CHF - would my journey from Zermatt to Paris on the 29/09/23 be eligible for the half price fare? OR would only a portion of my journey be 50%? Please advise.

Also, Is it correct to say for my journey from Milan to Zermatt - that only from Domodossola to Zermatt will be eligible for 50% fare?

Thank you for your request.

The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid on Swiss routes. There you have a 50% discount. When travelling with TGV trains (to Paris), you pay the full price from the border. It is best to split your bookings. Zermatt - Geneva with Half Fare Card, Geneva - Paris without discount. From Italy to Switzerland, the discount applies for the trip, when travelling with EuroCity trains. Meaning you could book Milan - Zermatt direct with Half Fare.
