Destination in SBB app for Saver Day past

Hi all, I am travelling To Switzerland Sept 2023 and I honestly cant wait!

I have reserved 2 adult tix for Glacier express from Andermatt to Zermatt. (via Glacier express website)

During that day, I will be travelling from Luzern to Andermatt in the morning about 11am, and take the 2pm Glacier express.

When I keyed in Andermatt to Zermatt in SBB app - there is a saver day pass. It is $39, the point-to-point is $36.5

The train from Luzern to Andermatt is $20.10

When I keyed in Luzern to Zermatt in SBB app - it is another direct and shorter route (which I do not want because I need to take Glacier Express)

My question is:

Do I still need to pay the train ticket from Luzern to Andermatt extra if the saver day pass I buy for the same day is from Andermatt to Zermatt?

I am worried that the saver day pass counts from Andermatt onwards..

I have tried to search similar post but found nil.

The Saver Day Pass is good for one day and covers most train lines in our country; hence, it is also valid for the Lucerne to Andermatt portion.

If you wish to visit Andermatt shortly, the main road (near Hotel Sonne) in the old part of the village is nice. Also, Café Bäckerei Oberalp is my favourite, if you are into a coffee break in Andermatt; it offers delicious sweets (bread, pastry, fruit cake, etc.).
