Hello,

I booked a trip to San Gallen from 2907 to 0608 where I want to bring my family and bikes because I knew there is a direct IC and then I found out the weekend direct trains on these days have been cancelled! (it’s around the Swiss national day BTW).

Now I also find out at the SBB counter, I cannot book the IC to San Gallen via Zurich and the operator told me they don’t know if they’ll be ever ablle to book these trains.

I am very upset about this bad experience with SBB.

This trip should be bookable without further ado. Unless it was interrupted due to construction work or cancelled due to an emergency, weather, technical malfunction and others. Which train exactly was the departure time from St.Gallen to Zurich?

Hello, thanks for your answer.

I am talking about the IC departure 29/07 at 9:42 from Geneva to Zurich and from Zurich the IC at 13:39 to San Gallen.

For the return on 06/08, the IC from San Gallen at 12:07 to Zurich and at 14:22 to Geneva.

AuroraD Right, that is exactly my disappoint. Wondering why the construction had to be planned just the weekend before and after of the Swiss national day, were lots of people have to travel.
