Hi,

On the SBB website, there is a Golden Pass Belle Epoque train from Montreux (2.50pm) to Zweisimmen on 22/09/23.

The day when we are in Montreux, we might have a little spare time. As one of us is a train fanatic, we thinking to take this Belle Epoque train fr Montreux up to Chernex station (arrival 2.59pm) It is just a 9 min journey to satisfy her curiosity.

Then back-track to Montreux (SBB show there is a PE train, arriving Chernex 3.01pm ) to continue our journey forward.

Is it possible with only a 2 min gap to catch the train back to Montreux? Are they on the same track? Our luggages would have been in Montreux lockers when we arrived earlier in the morning.

I know we are crazy, but it is too tempting for her to miss.

Thank you for your inquiry. There are three tracks at Chernex station. Two minutes transfer time is probably very tight but for people with a sporty step certainly doable. On which track the Panorama Express leaves I can not tell you. I wish you a nice day. Greetings GiuseppeL
