Does Swiss Half Fare Card cover international train route (From Switzerland to other countries)?

Hello,

In December I will be travelling to Germany, Switzerland and Italy. If I purchase the Swiss Half Fare Card for tourists, I am just wondering whether this covers any or part of the international route?

My (potential) international routes are:Frankfurt (DE) to Basel (CH), and Thun (CH) to Florence (IT)

Will the Swiss Half Fare Card provide any discount for the routes above? For example, reducing the cost of the train from Thun to the Swiss-Italian border, and then full fare onwards to Florence?

A Swiss Half Fare Card for tourists can make the international route a little cheaper. It depends on the route, etc.
But it may be cheaper to buy super saver tickets in advance for the respective route.

Please have a look at https://www.sbb.ch/en/ you can simulate the price, just indicate you have a Swiss Half Fare Card.
