Saver Day Pass Validity

Dear Community Members

I will be in Swiss between 19-22 Oct’23 and Planning to buy Saver Day pass on 2 days during my stay (together with half fare card as will do the mountains for rest two days).

My query is -

1)If the Saver Day pass is valid for tourists or only valid for Swiss residents/national

There is another ticket Day Pass for 2 which I learnt through posts that it is valid for Swiss nationals only. If the same applicable for Saver Day Pass too.

Thank you for your request.

Anyone can buy a Saver Day Pass. They are available with or without a Half Fare Travelcard. If you have the Swiss Half Fare Card, you can buy reduced day passes. When purchasing, you choose “Reduced price”.

The Day Pass for 2 can also be purchased by tourists visiting Switzerland. For this offer, a person must have a Half Fare Travelcard or a Swiss Half Fare Card.

UPDATE: I have just received internal information: The offer Day Pass for 2 is also valid if you have a Swiss Half Fare Card. I’ve corrected my answer from yesterday.
