Swiss family card

Hello,

i am Necip from Turkey, we are 4 people (2 adults and 2 children aged 3,7) and we will visit Geneva in November. i will buy a ticket from Milan IT to Geneva CH, but i dont understand whether i should buy ticket for my oldest child. How can i get Swiss Family Card? Do i need to specify both of my children at the reservation stage?

In summary, do i need to pay for the children aas well?

All depends on the length of your stay and the purpose of your visit. Is there a particular reason that you have chosen Geneva as your base? Is it for business or leisure?

Due to its location, Geneva is rather unfavorabke should you plan visiting our country for leisure / sight seeing.

Children pay in Switzerland from the age of six, but as you are travelling from abroad, both children need a ticket to the border if they want a seat..

After that, the 3 year old can travel for free and the 7 year old with the Swiss Family Card if you buy the Swiss Travel Pass. If you are only travelling this route, I recommend buying a normal ticket.
