visitor swiss half fare card and tickets on sbb ios app

Guten Tag,

I have a few questions I’m hoping some one can help me with.

1. If I was to purchase the visitor swiss half card online using my sbb account on my laptop, can i store this card on the sbb ios app? or do i have to purchase it on the app?

2. If I purchase point to point day tickets online via the sbb website when logged in, can i then see those passes on my sbb app?

3. Can i show pdfs of the swiss half card and the ticket on my phone or do i have to print the tickets out? what is the preference for train inspectors and bus drivers?

Yes. You can reuse the same login credentials when using the SBB Mobile App, your Swiss Half Fare Card will automatically appear in the app, provided you were logged in during the purchase. The (Swiss) Half Fare Card cannot be bought via app.
Yes. You will see the tickets in your app, this is one of the main features of the SBB Mobile App. When purchasing tickets using the app, above the ticket offers, you can see your name and a pen icon. Click on it to alter the reduction type to reflect your (Swiss) Half Fare Card. Choose ‘Half Fare Card’.
You can show your tickets in your app, as PDF, or as print-out. As long as they are scannable, all is fine. You are at any time required to have your physical passport or official ID with you, we do not accept photos or photocopies.
