Important information regarding your contributions:
All contributions and comments are welcome – including, of course, criticism as long as they promote dialogue among customers and others can benefit from the content.
Please be aware that your contributions and those of other users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SBB, its employees or business partners.
You may only upload content for which you have the necessary rights or of which you are the author.
SBB reserves the right to remove undesirable content immediately and without explanation.
Users are responsible for their own communication via private messages.
General: SBB reserves the right to assess the inappropriate and undesirable behavior of any type of user within the SBB Community on a general and situation-specific basis, and to take appropriate action. This can lead to the exclusion or blocking of a user.
Discussions in the SBB Community must follow the principle of “customers helping customers”. SBB reserves the right to judge at any time whether this principle is being respected in user interactions and to take measures (up to the exclusion or blocking of the user).
Questions, facts, discussions (conversations) or assertions are welcome, provided the SBB Community is the right channel for those topics. SBB decides whether the community is the right channel or not. If it’s not the case, the discussion can be closed or deleted from the platform.
Experience has shown that critical questions, facts, statements or discussions lead to critical answers, voices and opinions. It is therefore the personal responsibility of the user who has introduced these critical topics to be able to deal with the reactions of other users.
If a particular user repeatedly attracts negative attention, this can lead to exclusion or blocking from the SBB Community.
SBB can exclude or block Users any time without any warning and explanations.
The following content is deemed undesirable and will not be tolerated:
Offensive, obscene, pornographic, threatening, discriminatory, racist, insulting, misleading or illegal content as well as content that incites violence, demeans third parties or infringes the rights of third parties (including their copyright and personal rights).

Uploading files containing harmful viruses or similar.
Falsifying or deleting correct source references that relate to contributions.
You are not permitted to use SBB content and trademarks (e.g. the SBB logo) without the written consent of SBB.
If a user consciously or unconsciously harms or negatively influences SBB or the SBB Community in any way, this can lead to exclusion or blocking from the SBB Community.
It is not permitted to have an account without a nickname or to change it constantly.
It is not permitted to publicly publish the content of private messages or content intended for private messages.
It is not permitted to have multiple accounts to answer your own questions or generally with the intention of causing harm. This excludes users who have more rights within the community, e.g. to test new functionalities.
Provocations, political content, spam and phishing.
Copy-paste messages that are posted in several places at the same time or from time to time.
The following rules apply to the culture of dialogue, openness and positivity.
SBB should be a friendly, constructive digital place where customers can help each other. The principle of customers helping customers must be guaranteed.
Respect and Courtesy:
Be friendly and respectful: Treat other members with courtesy and respect. Remember that there is a person behind every post.
Constructive criticism: When offering criticism, be constructive and respectful. The goal is to promote discussions, not to discourage participants.
Communication and Expression:
Positive language: Use positive and friendly language. Avoid insults, personal attacks, and provocative statements.
Clarity and precision: Formulate your messages clearly and precisely to avoid misunderstandings. Think before you post your reply and make sure your message contributes to the discussion.
Topic Relevance:
Stick to the topic: make sure your posts are relevant to the topic being discussed. Off-topic posts can cause confusion and disrupt the flow of the discussion.
Avoid spam or deliberately ambiguous content: Do not post repetitive or irrelevant messages. This does not contribute to the quality of the discussion and can frustrate other members.
Handling Conflicts:
Stay calm: If conflicts arise, remain calm and objective. Try to resolve misunderstandings through clarifying questions.
Involve moderators: If a discussion escalates or you feel uncomfortable, contact our moderators. They are there to help you and ensure a pleasant discussion environment.
Personal Responsibility:
Assume responsibility for your posts: Assume responsibility for your posts and be prepared to explain or revise them if necessary. It’s to be expected that critical topics will very often elicit critical opinions from other users.
Personal development: Be open to feedback and use it to improve yourself and the way you communicate
Thank you for helping to make the SBB Community a platform for friendly and constructive exchange!
