Montreux Noël Offer - confusion

Hi all, we’re 4 people (1 under 16) travelling from the UK 30th November - 3rd December and want to book return train tickets between Geneva Airport and Montreux.
I’ve seen the SBB 50% discount offer but I’m having trouble slecting the right tickets - when I add passenger details to confirm the booking the price jumps up significantly.

I specified “No Discount” but I’m wondering if I should choose the “Half Fare Travel Card” option - does anyone have any advice?

I don’t want to book the wrong ticket and end up stranded!

What is the purpose for buying this ticket? Do you plan visiting the Christmas market in Montreux as a day excursion while you stay in Geneva, or will you stay in Montreux? If you stay in Montreux, please kindly note that this special offer includes the admission to the market on the day of your outward journey. The ticket for the market cannot be used on any day.

There might be better offers, we gladly help you find the most inexpensive offers, but we first have to understand where your base will be and why you want to buy the Marché Noël tickets.

Hi Roland, we will he staying in Montreux for the duration.
We will travel from Geneva Airport - Montreux on 30th November and return on 3rd December.
I think it may be better to buy supersaver tickets for specific days of travel. We don’t plan on travelling much further afield - maybe the cogwheel train to Santa’s House at Rochers-de-Naye and also Chateu Chillon.
