Name Sequence on Swiss Half Fare

Hi, my name is Joash Lim Yong Choon and I just bought myself a Swiss Half Fare through Klook. I was just wondering if the name sequence that I inputted is correct as follows:

Given Name: Joash Yong Choon
Last name/ Surname: Lim

The name “Lim” is my surname and in the mobile Swiss Half Fare, it was presented as “Lim Joash Yong Choon”.

I’m just afraid that the incorrect name sequence would get me in trouble. All other details (birth date) are correct.

Mixing up first and last name is not an issue. You are welcome to travel with your Swiss Half Fare Card.

I recommend the purchase of tickets through the SBB Mobile app. It is the official online point-of-sale without adding booking or transaction fees. Furthermore, it contains the timetable for all public transportation services in Switzerland.

Does it matter if separate train tickets were bought with a different name sequence as follows:

Given Name: Yong Choon
Last Name: Joash Lim

It was presented as “Joash Lim Yong Choon” in my e-ticket.

Apologies as we are not familiar with the name structure used in Europe. Thanks in advance.

That’s not a problem because all the names on the ticket can also be found in the passport.

Kindly note, e-tickets require your physically available passport upon ticket check. Photocopies or pictures are not accepted.
