Hello, I am new to this platform. Question about using a roundtrip ticket.
We would like to buy a roundtrip ticket to Rochers-de-Naye from Lausanne. Since we have to change trains in Montreaux, we would like to visit a castle on the way back. My question is: can I have a stop-over in Montreaux on the way back and take a later train to Lausanne or do I need to buy separate tickets? Thank you!

Rochers-de-Naye is a great mountain excursion.

Note, Chateau de Chillon is not in Montreux. And the train ticket Lausanne to Rochers-de-Naye is not valid for the bus to Chateau Chillon.

You would have to buy two single tickets:

Lausanne - Rochers-de-Naye
Rochers-de-Naye - Lausanne via Veytaux, château de Chillon

Note the spelling of Montreux.

Thank you, Roland! I was actually thinking about walking from Montreaux to Chateau de Millon. I was going to but a roundtrip ticket Lausanne to Rocher de Naye and I will need to switch trains in Montreaux. So I thought that on the way back I would get off one train and have a few hours of stop-over

The Lausanne to Rochers-de-Naye return ticket allows a stop over in Montreux.

However, keep in mind that walking to the Château will take you 45 minutes, one way. You could still purchase another return ticket from Montreux to Château Chillon.
