Hello Naujoatee79
That’s a very justified question. You seem to be a reasonable buyer.
In general, bicycles with yellow plates are considered a normal bicycle. They fall into category S-Pedelec and can be taken on board of public transport services when space is available.
The issue with this type of bicycle I personally see, they are extremely heavy due to the powerful battery. Most people do not give a thought on the weight when purchasing a two-wheels vehicle and are therefore later unable to use the hooks provided in trains for bicycles as the bicycle is too bulky and heavy to lift it up. As a result, they simply deposit the bicycle on the platform where they block the entry doors or the passage and this is neither permitted nor accepted, for safety and other passenger’s convenience reasons.
Kind regards,
Roland
