Please kindly note, SBB is not in charge what concerns ZVV ticket offers. You would have to contact ZVV directly if you want to see a change in their offers, or billing policies.
An auto-renewal of a monthly pass is not possible, and not what the majority would want, as they come with the convenience to manually renew them month by month at will, if required. In your case a yearly pass would make more sense and is probably even cheaper.
