Half fare travelcard

Hi, I bought 3 day pass for the half fare travelcard, we are travelling from geneva to lausanne and montreux on 31/12/2023. We are from malaysia, and is it correct for us to buy this type of tickets? It was quite confusing during buying the tickets. If it is not the right type of tickets, can we get refund or can we change the tickets?

Well, for this trip, a Day pass is a bit of an overkill, a one-way half fare ticket would cost you CHF 16, a single and return CHF 32.

Is it a “Day Pass for the Half Fare Card” or a “Saver Day Pass”?

Which amount did you pay for one pass?

When purchasing tickets, I suggest you to use www.sbb.ch/en or the SBB Mobile app on your smartphone. Enter the start and destination point, the booking engine will suggest you the best ticket. As in your case, a point-to-point ticket might be the better deal than a day pass.

Thank you for your reply. I bought Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard. I paid CHF 78 for 1 ticket. In that case, can I get refund and buy point to point ticket?

Did you buy it as a registered user? In this case, the Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard can be cancelled and refunded free of charge. You can find the refund options in the orders list.

If you have it bought as a guest, you will have to use the refund request form and a CHF 10 administration fee will apply, as these tickets willb be cancelled manually by a staff member: Refund of tickets for Switzerland purchased online and via mobile. SBB

Unfortunately I bought as a guest. I haven’t register upon purchasing the ticket yesterday. So, I just need to fill in the form then submit via email? Or I have to submit through the website?
