Thank you for you reply!Let me provide a detailed explanation of my situation.
I bought a point-to-point round-trip ticket from Haut de Caux to Rochers de Naye on December 12th, not a discounted ticket. However, when departing from Montreux in the morning and arriving at Haut de Caux, the train from Haut de Caux to Rochers de Naye was cancelled due to weather conditions.
I learned from “service. swisspass. ch” that “If, due to a delay or cancellation, your journal can no longer fulfill its purpose and you therefore wish to receive a refund, please contact the company from which you purchased your ticket.”
Also I learned from “passenger rights” that “If your journal can no longer fulfill your purpose for traveling due to a delay or cancellation, you may put in a stop to your journal, return free of charge on the next suitable connection and receive a refund for the cost of the ticket.”
As I will be traveling to another place, I am unable to continue my itinerary to Rochers de Naye the next day.So I believe I should receive a free refund.
