Use active saved journey for check-in and -out notifications

It sometimes happens to me that I almost forget to check in via the app (after having had a GA for a long time). And sometimes the app sends push notifications to check out even though I‘m just transiting to another train.

So I was thinking about your data situation. I‘m using the function of saving a journey a lot. Naturally, you highlight those which are active based on time.

Hence, couldn‘t you finetine the push notifications so that prior to an active journey you remind the user to check in? And when the active journey hasn‘t reached the end yet, not sending a premature check-out reminder notification?

The push notifications in the app are currently generated automatically based on the captured data and the duration of the journey. However, it is possible that errors or premature notifications may occur, especially for connections with transfers.

We appreciate your feedback and will pass it on to the responsible teams to improve the notification feature. Reminders to check-in before an active journey and avoiding premature check-out reminders could be implemented in the future to enhance the user experience.
