Hello Joboarried46
If you purchase tickets for the IC8, you will have 1 transfer, at Visp. This transfer is more than doable, and, at this time of the year, you won’t be the only one doing this transfer, that’s for sure.
We Swiss do like efficency, waiting at the station for the next train is not our thing. Therefore, the timetable does not offer connections which are per se not doable. You will see, once you got here.
In the unlikely event of a train delay resulting in a misconnection, you are welcome to use the next possible connection to your destination.
However, this rule only applies for Saver tickets as regular tickets do anyway allow the use of any connection according to your itinerary and on the ticket’s date of validity.
Kind regards,
Roland
