Hello 13035120666
The Swiss Travel Pass is an offer solely for tourists. The Saver Day Pass is an offer mostly for residents, yet tourists can use it, too.
For the major train lines, buses, trams, and boats, both passes have the same validity.
The Swiss Travel Pass gives some reductions on quite a few mountain excursions (for example in Zermatt or in the Jungfrau area) which the Saver Day Pass does not, unless you buy the Swiss Half Fare Card in addition. Furthermore, the Swiss Travel Pass includes free admission to many museums; the Saver Day Pass does not.
The only mountain excursions which are free with the Swiss Travel Pass as well as with the Saver Day Pass are
- Mt. Rigi
- Mt. Stanserhorn
- Mt. Rochers-de-Naye
- Klewenalp
- Stoos
Please see the respective validity maps on the respective product websites to know where they are valid.
Or, disclose your travel plans so we can give you better advice.
Kind regards,
Roland
