To mark the introduction of the Municipal Saver Day Pass, the Alliance SwissPass is offering anyone living in Switzerland or a neighboring country without a Half-Fare travelcard the opportunity to purchase a trial Half-Fare travelcard for two months from 11 December 2023 to 30 June 2024 at a staffed public transport point of sale at a price of CHF 33 for adults aged 25 and over and CHF 19 for young people (from their 16th to their 25th birthday).
To take advantage of this offer, buy a Municipal Saver Day Pass from the municipality or city at a reduced price (i.e. price for Half-Fare travelcard holders). On presentation of this Municipal Saver Day Pass at a staffed public transport point of sale, you can buy a Half-Fare travelcard in the same name as the Municipal Saver Day Pass. Bring a valid official ID and a good-quality, up-to-date passport photo (physical or digital on your smartphone) or your SwissPass. Choose the first day of validity freely between December 11, 2023 and June 30, 2024. The advance purchase period is two months.
IMPORTANT:
The offer is only valid for people who live in Switzerland or in a neighboring country and do not have a Half-Fare travelcard on the first day of validity of the Half-Fare travelcard.
On the day of travel, in addition to the discounted Municipal Savings Day Pass, a valid Half-Fare Travelcard (or Half-Fare Travelcard) must be presented.
