No, the Half Fare Card does not offer any discounts on monthly passes but on day passes or individual point-to-point tickets. Whether it grants discounts on cable cars depends on the operator. When you work in Zurich, ask your employer for the ZVV Bonus Pass. Many companies offer a voucher in order to purchase the ZVV Bonus Pass travel card; you will pay a travel card for zone 110 and will receive in return a travel card that is valid for all zones within ZVV fare network.
