Train tickets and ski lift tickets

I am flying in to Zurich from the USA in Mid-January. I will be getting a train to Grindelwald after landing. I have two questions that i would value your experience on:
1) If I pre-purchase a ticket can I use it for a later departure on the same day if my flight is delayed?
2) I am interested to use the discounted ski lift tickets purchased with rail tickets. It appears that these can only be purchased for 2 days or 6 days. I would like to ski 4 days, so I assume I should just purchase the two extra days when in Grindelwald.

If you buy a regular point-to-point ticket, you are flexible with your departure on the selected calendar day. The period of validity begins at midnight and ends at 5 a.m. the following day.

Alternatively, there is the supersaver ticket. This offer is only valid for the selected day of travel and the selected public transport connection (train connection).

Snow’n’Rail Jungfrau ski region: This offer is only valid for 1-day, 2-day or 6-day ski pass for the whole Jungfrau ski region. You can find more information and purchase options here.
