I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the SBB train services on New Year. This marks the second consecutive year (from my experience) where the services provided have fallen short of expectations, causing severe inconveniences for passengers.
The decision to limit train availability to just one or two wagons in the early morning of the New Year and subsequently cutting it in half was not only inadequate but also posed significant danger for commuters. The overcrowding was so severe that individuals with strollers found it difficult to exit the train, and many were unable to board altogether.
This recurring issue raises concerns about the overall planning and management of train services during peak times. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of consideration for passengers’ safety and comfort, especially on a night where reliable transportation is crucial.
I urge you to investigate and address these issues promptly to prevent a repeat in the future. Passengers deserve a reliable and efficient service, particularly during special events when demand is high.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope to see improvements in the SBB train services to ensure a better experience for all passengers.
