Supersaver ticket purchase - GA card holder presence required?

Hello,

I am a 2nd class GA travel card holder

I have friends visiting in a few weeks whom do not have any discounts (GA travel card, etc), and I have just purchased Super saver tickets from Zurich Flughafen to Bern Bahnhofvia the SBB website while I was logged in.

For the super saver tickets I have purchased, do I need to be present for the ticket inspector? as I will be in Bern awaiting their arrival

Purchasing Supersaver tickets for someone who arrives by air isn’t very much recommended. What if the flight arrives with a delay? The tickets are only valid for the chosen connection and will be lost if they can’t meet the train’s departure time as indicated on the ticket.

Your guests must be in the possession of the tickets, and each ticket has to bear the name of the person travelling. You either have to send a copy of the ticket by e-mail (PDF) or send them the QR code by What’s app. They must have their passport or official ID card for identification.

As long as you bought full fare tickets they do not have to show anything other than their ticket & I card / passport.
