My Tickets on the mobile SBB app

I bought a ticket from Zermatt to Milan, but do not see it on the app. Is that because it is an international ticket? I see the point to point ticket I bought from Geneva to Zermatt, which is why I ask.

Probably you have received a mail with instructions for printing your eTickets from Zermat to Milano. As you have noticed only tickets for Switzerland are availabel in SBB mobile App, international ticket sales only in Ticketshop SBB.CH.

It depends on the ticket type, country, and point of sale, whether they are available in the SBB Mobile app or not.

For Italy, they are not available in the app, as Italian rail tickets use another technical standard, and this is why they cannot be displayed in the SBB Mobile app. Likewise, SBB conductors use the Italian railway’s ticket control app to check your international ticket. Whether you have got it as PDF or hardcopy (printed ticket), both is fine.
