ok, here is a guide to how things SHOULD have worked kinda
1)you register new account
2)you login with new credentials
3)the system was made poorly, so you have to hit SignIn on next page - but dont worry, no need for credentials - it knows you’re already in
4)goto account
5)select “change”
6)select “confirm identity”
7)select “continue”
8)enter phone number - Danish works as well
9)it says somthing - actually it sends an SMS with first some confirmation digits and subsequently an url, which you need to use in mobile phone browser
I got banned - because the system is obviously made by the Whizzair checkin-prorgrammer, I cant show further screenshots.
10)otherwise you’re guided on the phone in making a selfie-mug-shot, photographing your passport, making a selfie, uploading your desired picture on your what-ever-physical-card I dunno etc etc et . I did this like 10+ times, so I know this process by now.
IF… only IF… the system works, then you are blessed with a customer number in your profile.
I succeded twice (I’m a persistant person - together me an my son used a total of 4 hours on it).. but somehow I got some other details wrong down the road and I THOUGHT that I could do it again. Which was wrong, because with all the other failures in their “wizzair” system, all the retries resulted in a phone ban (I think).
I will collect phones from people I know, but then I will have a swisspass tied to a phone I dont own - and this is not a very good system, which requires that.
You must remember to use Edge - which is the only computer browser, I found working with this ordeal. Andyou must not move focus away while the window is thinking (who designed this?).
But… if… it had worked, you could actually prepare your journey from home - and needed not bring passport photo to a ticket office (I wonder if they are working in the middle of the night when trains are not???!?)
