Luzern-Interlaken Express Panoramic

Hello everyone,

My family will be touring Switzerland this coming May. I have just purchased tickets from SBB today for Luzern-Interlaken. Then I came across this ‘Luzern-Interlaken Express Panoramic Train’, which I did not see on the SBB website.

Can anyone please tell me if the tickets I bought at SBB are indeed the ’Luzern-Interlaken Express Panoramic? Otherwise, what can I do to get onto one?

For the Luzern-Interlaken Express you can use the normal tickets of the national traffic. You don’t need to buy special ones

When you do a timetable search on SBB pay attention to the train details, where you will see that it is a “PE” (Panoramic Express) and its name is Luzern Interlaken Express.

Note that this is a regular service train, so you do not need to reserve seats, and you also do not need to buy tickets months in advance…
