The Swiss public transport system isn’t as complicated as it looks. Certainly not more complex than the German public transit, 🙂 You will notice it once you are in our country.

1) Yes, sure. The Swiss Half Fare Card entitles you to purchase Saver Day Passes at half fare. An active half fare card is not needed to purchase these tickets; you can purchase the tickets now and the Swiss Half Fare Card shortly before arrival.

2) You mean available in the app for purchase or for ticket inspection after purchase? You can purchase it from here:

Make sure, you purchase them as registered user (not as guest). Then, use the same username / password to connect with the app. The Saver Day Pass automatically appears there, for ticket inspection.

Kindly note, any electronic tickets need your physical passport with the ticket. Passport copies or photos of it are not accepted.
