Would really appreciate some help here!
I am traveling to Switzerland in less than a month’s time and have been attempting to get train tickets asap as I am not planning to use the Swiss Travel Pass that covers all trips.
I will be buying a ticket to travel from Zurich HB to Bern, then Bern to Interlaken, Interlaken to Luzern and lastly Luzern to Zurich HB.
With my 4 attempts of purchasing the above tickets, they have all showed a page stating the following line ‘The payment cannot proceed due to an error. Please repeat the process again.’ and no tickets were shown on ‘my orders’ page which I assume the purchase hasn’t been successful.
It’s shown on my online banking that a total of £120 were held ‘pending transactions’ (that was a total of four £30 attempts purchasing these tickets) and I have tried three different computers/laptops and one mobile phone doing the above. Each attempt I had to verify the payment with my bank online so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with my bank e.g.: they declined payment.
Would someone please give me some ideas what can I do next given that I would not prefer to wait until last minute and be forced to buy the Swiss Travel Pass at the actual train station.
