The Swiss Travel Pass is not delivered on a card, that’s the SwissPass, yet it is available to residents only.

The Swiss Travel Pass is an e-ticket; if you purchase it at the station, it is issued as paper ticket (no replacement in case of loss).

If you buy it with the first day of validity set for 5 June 2024, it will be valid from 05/06/2024 00:00 (midnight) until the morning of 09/06/2024 at 05:00.

And tell me at what time does the deadline end? if I bought on 06.05 for 4 days, when will it end?

You can purchase it in Grindelwald at the station. But I wondered how you will get there (without a ticket)?

When you purchase the pass, you can say if it should be valid from the same day, from the next day or any from any date of choice in the future.

My issue with your plan: when you purchase the Swiss Travel Pass for 6 May, to simply go to Grindelwald First, the pass will grant 50% on the ticket. You still have to pay CHF 34.- besides the cost for the Swiss Travel Pass (single day), which is CHF 73 (CHF 295 / 4 days). Thus, you will pay more than CHF 100 for that trip, while a full fare ticket to First would only cost CHF 68 per person.

From my point of view, it would be sufficient to purchase the pass for 3 days only, while you purchase full fare tickets for the 6th May.
