I had to ask a colleague about their meaning.

The red flag indicates the connection with lowest fare for your search result, and this for each travel class.

Thanks to your question, I have learnt something new 🙂

RolandP Thank you for the info. That was my initial thought but since there were other travels with the same price and didnt had the red color i was wondering if it was something else.
