Visiting Two Towns in one day - Best Pass Option?

I plan on visiting Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald from Interlaken on the same day, what is the best way to purchase the tickets? I prefer not to have fixed times and take time to see each town before moving to the next town and returning to Interlaken (Interlaken-Lauterbrunnen-Grindelwald-Interlaken).

Simply go to the train station in Interlaken and purchase a round trip ticket Interlaken-Lauterbrunnen-Grindelwald-Interlaken. It is valid the entire day and allows multiple stops along the line. There is no need to purchase the tickets in advance.
