Upgrade specific Journey

I am Travelling from India between 1st June to 15th (Landing in Zurich, departing from geneva) . I am holding Swiss Travel Pass for two of us in 2nd Class. Can someone guide me using the SBB mobile app how can I upgrade my Journey from 2nd Class to 1st Class for only Golden Pass Line (Interlaken to Montreux) journey for 1 day

Yes; using the SBB Mobile app, go to the Timetable tab, enter the route you want to travel, for example Interlaken Ost to Montreux, select 2nd class, then below the point-to-point ticket offer, there is the class upgrade offer.

You can buy this at half fare; thus, click on the pen icon above the ticket offer, and set the reduction type to Half Fare Card for you. Then add your travel companion as co-passenger, enter all the personal information of that person, and set the reduction type again to Half Fare Card.

You can choose normal 1st class seats or Prestige seats who are in the front of the train for the second part of the trip after Zweisimmen.

RolandP Thanks, This is what I wanted to understand. When I am holding Swiss Travel Pass, I need to select Half Fare Card as the option to go for Point to Point to Class Upgrade Option and then I can buy the Tickets for discounted price. What do you suggest for Golden Pass route should I book the ticket the day before or even before that ?

You can purchase the ticket at any time, as long as you get them before travel.

However, I suggest you to make seat reservations as the train is very popular.
